Happy Birthday King James Bible

The King James Bible turns 400!

It's believed that the King James version of the Bible was first published "on or about" May 2, 1611. Even confirmed atheists like Christopher Hitchens laud the beautiful and poetic KJV language from William Tyndale written in the time of King Henry VIII. Special celebrations will take place around the world to commemorate probably the most enduringly popular translation of the scriptures.

A commemorative edition of the 400-year-old King James Bible.
