Fisher of Men

John Paul's Life


Pope John Paul II will be beatified Sunday, May 1. In honour of the event, enjoy this video retrospective of the Pope's travels, set to music and with John Paul himself singing Pescador de los Hombres (Fisher of Men) in El Salvador in 1983.

Catch a glimpse (2:50 mark) of the Pope being welcomed by children waving the Vatican flag, with one little girl giving him a big, long hug.
