Carmelite Sisters trust in the Lord's way

Nuns serve Downtown Eastside poor at The Door Is Open

Nathan Rumohr reports on two Filipino religious sisters who have helped bring some much-needed Christmas cheer to the Door Is Open. After serving in various parishes for three months, they arrived at the drop-in homeless shelter May 2012.
The sisters got to work immediately. Sister Clarita uses her background in Catholic social teaching to meet with volunteers for faith sharing, while Sister Pablita works behind the scenes preparing food.
