Retreat offers a 'vine' of hope and healing

Rachel's Vineyard helps women move past abortion with counselling

The B.C. Catholic's fourth article from the Culture of Life series details the healing power of Rachel's Vineyard for women who've had an abortion:
At the 2011 March for Life rally in Victoria, Kathereen Kessler bravely took the stage and said she regretted having an abortion. At 19, pregnant, single, and alone, she decided to terminate her pregnancy. The choice haunted her for years.

"I don't want women to go through what I went through; it's terrible," Kessler told The B.C. Catholic last year.

It wasn't until she attended Rachel's Vineyard and gave her unborn child a name that the healing began.
