Under Pope Francis's authority, the Holy See has decreed the inclusion of St. Joseph in the Eucharistic Prayers of the Mass.

Published on June 19, the Decree "Paternas vices," or "Fatherly care," states the name of St. Joseph will be used in Eucharistic Prayers II, III, and IV after the name of the Virgin Mary.

The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has posted the full details on their website.
