The B.C. Catholic has a story by Elizabeth Krump about a recent pro-life lecture given by activist John Hof:
John Hof says one thing he's never done in his 30 years of experience on the front lines of pro-life work in B.C. is give a talk in a pub.

Hof was the guest speaker Nov. 18 at Catholic After Hours, a social and educational event for young adults held monthly at the Irish Heather Pub in Gastown.

The pro-life situation, Hof said, "can't get any worse in Canada. We have no law" against abortion. He opened his talk with about 30 young people by briefing them on what his organization, United for Life B.C., is doing to change that.
