Catholic school campaigns for new facilities

St. Thomas More Collegiate participates in contest for $1 million

Staff at St. Thomas More Collegiate are pursuing all avenues to raise money for sports equipment to complement a new athletic facility.

The school has entered the Aviva Community Fund competition and currently sits in the semifinals. The annual competition provides a $1-million prize.  The two organizations with the most online votes by Dec. 12 will advance to the judging round. The judges will be local celebrities, business leaders, and journalists.
