UVic student gets once and lifetime opportunity to meet the Pope

In a special article to The B.C. Catholic, Katrina Laquian, shares her "once in a lifetime" experience at the Vatican: 

Catholic students from around the globe gathered in Vatican City for the Third World Congress on the Pastoral Care of International Students Nov. 30 to Dec. 3. The congress was sponsored by the Pontifical Council for Migrants and Travellers.

I received a "once in a lifetime" opportunity to be one of the two Canadian student delegates to this congress. We joined more than 100 cardinals, bishops, sisters, priests, and chaplains from 36 countries to discuss the meeting of cultures and create a working document for the Pastoral Care of International Students.
