  1. I just finished reading Peter Seewald's very down to earth interview with Pope Benedict (Benedict XVI, Light of the World, the Pope, the Church, and the Signs of the Times, 2010). It’s an intimate view of the Pope’s thoughts and Catholics will find it fascinating to read. To have such a brilliant intellect leading the Church through these difficult and humbling times is a great gift. It’s also a huge burden to take on in one’s old age, so please keep the Pope (and his beloved brother) your prayers.
