Washington state Gov. Chris Gregoire announces her support for legislation that would legalize same-sex marriage in the state Jan. 4.     according to the concise OXFORD Dictionary:
    marriage - to take a WIFE
    wife - FEMME
    femme - WOMAN (opp. man or girl)

    same-sex unions may be a lot of things but never a marriage.
