Agnieszka Krawczynski writes a story about the plans and further construction of the new John Paul II  Pastoral Centre on 33 Avenue.

After more than 50 years in an aged-brick building on Robson Street, the offices of the archdiocese are going to move to part of the former St. Vincent Hospital site.

A groundbreaking ceremony marked the start of construction for the Archdiocese of Vancouver's new John Paul II Pastoral Centre Aug. 29 on 33 Avenue in Vancouver near Willow Street. The new centre will contain offices, a chapel, meeting rooms, and nine suites for retired priests.
