Retreatants to embrace Ignatian spirituality

Young adult Catholics prepare for day-long discernment


A retreat based on the teachings of St. Ignatius of Loyola will be offered in St. Mark's Church Jan. 26.
Want an opportunity to embrace the spirit of St. Ignatius of Loyola? Nathan Rumohr reports on the upcoming retreat Jan. 26:
Father Mbugua William, SJ, the assistant vocations director of the English Canada Province of the Society of Jesus, will lead a day-long discernment retreat that will focus on the works of St. Ignatius, an early-16th-century saint who said "all people are created to praise, reverence, and serve God in this life."
"This Ignatian discernment retreat will provide participants with a chance to learn ways of discerning Christ's presence and voice in our daily lives," said Father Elton Fernandes, SJ, who teaches Ignatian spirituality in the Archdiocese of Vancouver.
