Florence Nightingale honoured at Trinity Western

An evangelical university in Langley is hosting their third International Symposium on Faith and Nursing on May 10-12. Trinity Western's School of Nursing has planned a tribute to the May 12 anniversary to the birth of Florence Nightingale, the English nurse who founded modern medicine is scheduled.

Also, the public can attend a discussion featuring the topic of Diversity and Health Care services on May 11 at 7 p.m. in the Northwest Auditorium.

Speakers include Dr. Evelyn Voyageur, President of the Aboriginal Nurses Health Assoc. of Canada, Dr. Rani Srivastava, from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, and Trinity's own Dr. Sonya Grypma.
