Tapping an interfaith Dialogue at St. Mark's

Theology on Tap welcomes Aliya Hirji to break down stereotypes of Islam

St. Mark's College will welcome Canadian Ismaili-Muslim Aliya Hirji to discuss women and Islam for the March 4 edition of Theology on Tap.

The event was organized by St. Mark's campus ministry.

Hirji's presentation, "Interfaith Dialogue and Education for Women in the Quran: A Canadian-Ismaili-Muslim Woman’s Perspective," will use the Quran, other writings, and personal anecdotes to break down cultural stereotypes. 

The event starts with a 6 p.m. Mass at St. Mark's Chapel followed by the presentation from 7 to 9 p.m.

St. Mark's College is located on the UBC campus at 5935 Iona Dr.
